For people born in the State of Georgia, a Certified Birth Certificate may be obtained from any county in Georgia regardless of the county of birth.
To obtain a certified copy of a Birth Certificate you must have a valid photo identification. If you are requesting the birth certificate of someone other than yourself, you must be able to prove your relationship to them.
Certified Birth Certificates may be requested in person or by mail. Fee is $25.00 for the first (1st) certified copy and $5.00 for any additional copies requested at that time. |

The material is non-circulating, but is available for research in the library. The Bryan-Lang Historical Archives is a research-only facility. We provide basic and advanced searches for information pertaining to Camden County. |

| Animal Control is the first place you should call to report a stray or dangerous animal in your area. We have three main functions:
Public Service - Animal Control Officers impound stray animals to prevent them from doing damage, or harming themselves or others.
Education - Animal Control Officers work with the Humane Society and other agencies to establish standards for responsible pet ownership. They also educate the public through direct visits to schools, clubs, and civic organizations.
Enforcement - Animal Control protects animal owners, non-owners, and animals in our community through state laws and local ordinances. |

Our clinics provide many services including STD testing & treatment. STD testing includes chlamydia testing, gonorrhea testing, syphilis testing and HIV Testing. We provide services for family planning including pap smears, birth control and pregnancy testing. The range of services offered at the Camden County Health Department helps make our beautiful coastal community a healthier place in which to live. We are proud to serve the people of Camden.
