1. What do I need to do to burn outdoors?

For unincorporated Camden County, please obtain a burn permit from the Georgia Forestry Commission. Burn Permits may be obtained by phone at 1-877-OK2-BURN (1-877-652-2876) or online at: https://gatrees.org/fire-prevention-suppression/burn-permits.  

NOTE: Permits are good only for the day they are issued. If you obtain your permit after dark, your permit will be good for the following day.

2. Can I get a Free Smoke Alarm?

Yes. The Prevention Division will install a free smoke alarm to those residents that are in need. Please contact CCFR Headquarters at 912-729-3911 for more information.

3. How do I obtain a copy of a fire report?

4. How do I obtain a copy of an EMS report?

5. Does the fire department fill swiming pools?

No. However, if you live in area serviced by a municipal water system, you are encouraged to contact their office to see what options you may have.
