The Georgia Emergency Management Agency (GEMA) has declared February 4-8, 2019, to be Severe Weather Preparedness Week and Camden County Emergency Management Agency (EMA) urges all Camden County citizens to take time to learn about possible severe weather threats and how to prepare for them.
“We want to encourage all Camden County residents to plan and prepare for severe weather,” said EMA Director Chuck White. “It is important for everyone to take proactive steps in good weather to ensure the safety of you and your family during severe weather.”
Throughout the week, Camden County citizens will learn about severe weather threats and preparedness steps including:
- Family Preparedness,
- Thunderstorm Safety,
- Tornado Safety,
- Lightning Safety, and
- Flood Safety.
