SUPERIOR COURTS OF THE BRUNSWICK JUDICIAL CIRCUIT
UPDATED - COVID-19 OPERATING PLAN
Pursuant to the new guidance implemented by the CDC in May, 2021, and in accordance with Chief Justice Melton's Notice of Expected Termination of Statewide Judicial Emergency on June 30, 2021, the Brunswick Judicial Circuit's Operating Plan entered on May 15, 2020, is hereby amended and updated as follows:
All visitors to any courthouse or courthouse annex in this Circuit, including attorneys and their staff, who have been fully vaccinated (at least two weeks past their final dose) are not required to wear a mask. Those visitors not fully vaccinated should continue to wear a mask while inside the courthouse. Appropriate social distancing practices will continue to be observed for all in-person court proceedings.
Nothing in this Order shall prohibit a judge from mandating mask protocols in his or her own courtroom that may be different from the above as the circumstances and safety considerations may dictate at any particular time.
This update shall become effective July 1, 2021 and shall remain effective until further order of the Court.
