Mission

The Two Rivers Gun Range mission is to provide a safe and respectful environment for hunters and recreational target shooters to sight-in firearms and to target practice.  

Location

Two Rivers Gun Range is located on Georgia Hwy 110, approximately one (1) mile from Georgia Hwy 40 intersection in southwestern Camden County.  

Hours

The Two Rivers Gun Range is open Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

History

In 2017, Camden County received $750,000 in funding through a Georgia Shooting Range Development Grant provided by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources (GA-DNR) through US Fish & Wildlife funding. In 2019, the project received an additional $900,000 in funding was used to complete the 200-yard rifle range, sidewalks, and fencing for the range. 

The Georgia Department of Corrections served as an integral part of this project through the use of inmate labor in the construction of the main office and the pistol and rifle canopies.

As part of the grant requirements from GA-DNR, Camden County must maintain the property as a public gun range for 20 years.

The pistol range opened to the public on August 28, 2021, and the rifle range opened to the public on October 23, 2021.
